This working group focuses on the Action deliverable which is to develop a “compendium of best practices of citizen science projects with an evolutionary focus”.
Historically, this group was part of WG5 “Scientists”
The WG met in Berlin in January 2020 where we carried out a very productive workshop- with two other COST Actions, Alien-CSI and the recently concluded Citizen Science COST Action, to identify strategies to promote scientific literacy in evolution using citizen science as a tool.
The meeting resulted in a very long document that is being revised by the editorial board and is intended to be soon submitted to a scientific journal.
